Smells have a way of bringing back memories and helping us to remember specific events. Air Wick teamed up with a military family, the Fellers. Dad, Kearen, has been in the Middle East for 11 months. Mom, Cortney, takes care of their six children back home in North Carolina.
Air Wick helped the Feller family create candles that smelled like home. The scents were a baseball glove Dad gave his son, the apple pie he enjoys baking with his children, and the fireplace in their family room. His response to the smells are so real and so genuine. It’s amazing how a simple scent can impact our bodies.
“Scent is one of the triggers of the brain that actually changes the physiology of our body,” scent expert Thomas Dunn says in the video. “Every scent we try to capture is a personal journey.”
What an amazing gift for this father and his family.
