Have you heard of the “World’s Worst Mom?” Lenore Skenazy has been called this after she wrote about letting her 9-year-old son ride the New York Subway, alone. While some people called her crazy, others praised her “free range” parenting style.
Overprotective parents, beware, she has a new TV show that starts January 22, called “World’s Worst Mom.” She is setting out to help parents loosen up the apron strings and give kids a little more freedom. This show looks great. She says these moms aren’t bad, just very, very anxious. It is interesting how these anxious moms are impacting their children’s self esteem.
