The MeadowGrass Music Festival is not only an important cultural event in the Pikes Peak Region, it is also a fundraiser for La Foret Conference and Retreat Center, originally the summer estate of Mrs. Alice Bemis Taylor, one of the three benefactresses of the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center.
