Have your kids ever wanted to make their own movies? It’s easier than ever to make your kid a star and let them write their own movie! Here are some great ideas for making awesome home movies.
You can use a Flip camera, an iPod or any other camera that has removable memory you can plug into your computer.
Here are a few editing programs you can use to cut out the extras and focus on the good stuff.
- Make a storyboard – Plan out your story use paper to write it out and you can tape it up on a wall or large area. This allows you to see your story and plan where you’ll record and what you’ll need.
- Assign Roles, Find Props & set up scenes – Let everyone pick their roles, get their props and get the areas ready where you are going to record.
- Roll Tape! It’s time to film your young actors and actresses. You may have to film multiple times to get the scene just right.
- Edit Use a good editing program and put all the scenes together.
Make it a fun family movie night and share the movie with friends and family. You could even makeup tickets and have popcorn and other movie snacks. Enjoy seeing the creativity your kids have!
