- Have you been to The Picture Show Movie Theaters? Each movie only cost $1.50 & on Tuesdays $.75! The movies aren’t newly released, but most aren’t out on DVD yet and you can catch up with the movies you missed the first time around.

- Geocaching – Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment.
- Letterboxing is an intriguing “treasure hunt” style outdoor activity. Letterboxers hide small, weatherproof boxes in publicly-accessible places (like parks) and post clues to finding the box online on one of several Web sites. However, clues to finding some of the most highly-sought boxes are passed around by word of mouth. There are about 20,000 letterboxes hidden in North America alone. Individual letterboxes usually contain a log book, an often hand-carved rubber stamp and may contain an ink pad. Finders make an imprint of the letterbox’s stamp on their personal log book, and leave an imprint of their personal stamp on the letterbox’s logbook .
- Photography Adventure! Give your kids a camera and let them photograph your adventure. You can use the photos to create a book of your kidadventure.
