McDonald’s restaurants have recalled over 2 million “Hello Kitty” Birthday Lollipop whistles. They were given away in Happy Meals throughout the US and Canada over the last month. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that it can come apart and pose a choking and aspiration hazard.

So far, McDonald’s has received two reports of children who coughed out pieces of the whistle they sucked into their mouths, one of whom required medical attention.

The whistles can be returned to McDonald’s for a replacement toy, yogurt tube, or bag of apple slices.
