Why don’t dogs wear clothes?
Why doesn’t the cat ride in a stroller?
Can I have some milk?
Can I have a snack?
Can I cut my hair?
Can I play games on your phone?
When are going to be finished with this store?
Remember when we saw Thomas?
Remember when you stayed in the bathroom for a long time, while I sang to you through the door?
Can I stay up just 10 more minutes?
Can you get me some water?
Can I go to the bathroom?
Why aren’t you asleep yet?

Your kids are literally asking you hundreds of questions every day. A study from an Australian online retailer and news.com.au, surveyed 1,000 mothers with kids between the ages of 2 and 10-years-old. They found that most moms are asked about 228 questions every single day, from just one child. Who asks the most questions? 4-year-old girls. They ask about 390 per day. Nine-year-old boys only ask about 144 questions a day.

They also found that kids go to their mother with questions before they go to their father. When asked why they go to their mother first, they answered it was because dad always said, “Go ask your mother.” While the number of questions go down as children age, the difficulty to answer them goes up. Most moms admitted that their older children ask them questions they cannot answer.
