Most 4-year-old boys are excited to get toy trucks for the holidays, but Carson Kight of Colorado Springs recently received an extra special delivery from UPS that will make his peers swoon! A working miniature version of his very own UPS truck.
Ever since he was a toddler, Carson became infatuated with all things UPS. It all began when Carson wasn’t able to drink regular milk as a baby, and his special formula was delivered regularly by UPS. He would watch the truck from his livingroom window, until one day, “Mr. Ernie” their UPS driver asked Carson if he would like to come out and see his truck. Ever since, Mr. Ernie and Carson have become the best of friends, as he always takes extra time with Carson during his route.
Mr. Ernie decided it was time to give Carson a special gift of his own. As part of the company’s “Your Wish Is Delivered” campaign, Carson was chosen to be a driver for a day. You can imagine the huge smile on Carson’s face when the big truck delivered his little truck!
His truck came fully equipped with packages, a signature pad, an adorable map and even doggie treats to keep dogs happy. Carson continues to drive the truck around his neighborhood, surprising neighbors with cookie and muffin deliveries.
