Apple Art

Apples are ripe for the picking and if you are like us, you end up with lots of apples after a trip to a farm. This is a fun and easy activity to do with kids of all ages. You can use the apple as a stamp and make any kind of apple print. I like to use them on lunch bags. I also saw another gal cut small squares of brown paper bags, string them on a piece of rope and use them as garland over her fireplace. You can also do something similar with ribbon and canvas or burlap. The easiest would be having your kids stamp plain white paper and then display their fall apple art.

  1. Cut an apple in half.
  2. Squirt any color of paint on a paper plate.
  3. Make sure there is enough paint to cover the apple.
  4. Stamp the apple on the paint and then on the paper, bag, fabric, etc.
  5. Make sure to let it dry before hanging up.
This apple print garland is super cute. I saw this over at Multiples & More and loved it.
