Jorge Tirado took his 9-month-old son surfing. He recorded it to prove that the kid had so much fun. Unfortunately, not everyone thought this was a good idea. People were outraged that anyone would think this was an “adorable” event.

Jorge Tirado filmed his son on a board for the first time and the result is adorable.
This heartwarming video shows a nine-month-old baby going bodyboarding for the first time.
Jorge Tirado took his son out on the waves and filmed it using a camera mounted on the board.
To begin with the tot looks unsure as water floods over his head and into his eyes, but then it’s clear he’s starting to absolutely love it as a big beaming grin appears on his face.
When the next wave comes he’s giggling away as his dad steers the board.
If this kid goes on to be a champion surfer he’ll know where it all started.
Jorge Tirade uploaded the video to Vimeo last week and it’s been a huge hit.
He said: “My son first try. Thanks to everyone.
“I encourage you to Safely bring your kids to the ocean, after all the ocean is the place where it all began.
“By far, This is the best sport for you spiritual, mental and physical health. Enjoy!”
WHY would anyone be upset about this? It looks like the baby is safe and for the most part having fun. Sure there are moments when he looks a little scared, but he also has happy moments. Tirade specifically says, “safely bring your kids to the ocean.”
The only counter argument could be that a child needs to be old enough to want to participate. There are lots of fun things adults do that kids just don’t need to be a part of.
