Maybe it is possible to be naughty and nice? The Platinum 84 gentlemans’ club in Federal Heights recently won the city’s “best Christmas light display” for businesses which included a $100 cash prize that they say will be donated to a local charity that buys toys for children.
The charity, started by a local police officer has already received $1200 from the strip club which was raised by a charity event called “Twerking For Toys.”
Many locals are scoffing at awarding an honorable Christmas related prize to a strip club, but according to Huffington Post, Mayor Joyce Thomas says the strip club has been a “good neighbor” and that the lights “brighten up the area.” She says she doesn’t have a problem with it.
