Sadly, an Atlanta family had a tragic ending to their Thanksgiving week this Black Friday.
A mother and her three children were driving in Atlanta with their German Shepherd along for the ride when according to witnesses, a road rage incident occured. This prompted another vehicle to follow the family to a strip mall where they pulled out a gun and open fired multiple times, shooting and shattering windows while terrorizing the family inside their Chevy Surburban.
Their guardian angel that day happened to be their German Shepherd. He jumped in front of the family and took a bullet that very easily would have hit one of the children. Unfortunately, the dog later succumbed to his injuries.
We hope in this case the saying “all dogs go to heaven” is true, because this loyal friend earned it!
