A 72-year-old woman laced cookies with laxatives and mouse poison. She then sent them to someone in another town, who thankfully, did not eat them.
The Stillwater, NY police charged Joanne O. Jones of Slingerlands with second-degree reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor. She sent them back in March and the investigation has been ongoing. The undisclosed resipient called police.
The cookie lady turned herself into police, wearing a festive Christmas sweater. She has been released and will return to court to face charges.
