Kids start going crazy right around Thanksgiving and don’t usually let up until after New Year’s Day. I’d like to think it has something to do with the tilt of the earth and gravity, you know something scientific. However, it is more likely caused by copious amounts of food and sweets, holiday parties, and gifts.
My kids start writing Christmas lists right after Halloween and think they can change their mind all the way up to Christmas Eve. However, they usually up the fighting during that time. The annoy the crap out of each other and me. They pick and nag at one another so much I think they are working together just to make me crazy.
One mother in the UK had enough of her kids’ behavior. She gave them a letter from Santa calling them out on their naughtiness. To her I say, Brilliant! Sure the kids get upset, but you know what kids need a little jolt from an influencer every now and again and what bigger influencer than Santa.
