This is a fun and easy way to get ready for Thanksgiving. You can make one with your kids, for them and one for the adults or teens in your family.

Take a hike with your kids and have them pick up a few branches.
Clean off the branches. You can spray-paint the branches if you want to do a little more.
Use a tall vase to put the branches in. You can use nuts, rocks or stones in the bottom to help give the branches support.
Stand the branch in a vase and fill the container with unshelled nuts for support. (You can also use rocks, buttons, gems, anything heavy that will hold the branches upright.)
