This is a fun and simple craft to make with your kids. You can have them laminated at a local office supply store and use them as Place Mat.

Items Needed:
-Construction Paper
-Orange, Yellow, Green, Red and Brown Finger Paints

Instructions:

-Have your child put their palm up to their mid-arm into the brown paint. Put their arm and hand on a piece of construction paper. The lighter the paper, the better you’ll be able to see the tree and leaves.
– Put a small amount of orange, yellow, green and red finger paint on another sheet of paper or a sponge. The paint on the sponge will allow the paint not to glop up on their fingers. Have them make fingerprints around the top of the tree to make fingerprint “leaves.”
– Use a paint brush or your fingers to make “grass” at the bottom of the page and you can make flowers with fingerprints.
– Once the painting is dry, you can have it laminated to make a placemat.
