Pregnancy is a life-changing event for women. It can be even more challenging for homeless women. A special woman in San Francisco is helping these women document their pregnancies free of charge.
Keri Vaca, owner of Small Miracles Photography, has been donating her photography services to women at the Homeless Prenatal Program for almost eight years. The program helps women in poverty with basic needs.
Vaca says, “I love empowering the moms [by] showing them how beautiful their pregnancy is. The women I work with are like me…They want the best for their babies.” She hopes to support them so they can have happy and healthy families. There are hundreds of volunteers who help homeless women and their families.
What an amazing gift for these mothers to start their new journey as a parent.
