Moms everywhere are cringing a little with the thought of giving birth to a 14 pound baby, but it’s one Florida mom’s reality! Maxxandra Ford gave birth to her baby boy on January 29th at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa Bay. Her son Avery Denton, is now officially the largest baby ever born at the hospital.
Ford, who also has a 1-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son didn’t even realize she was pregnant until she was 35 weeks along! She thought she was gaining weight last Fall for other reasons. After a trip to her doctor is when she found out she was in her third trimester.
Although Avery is one big boy, Texas wins when it comes to chunky babes with the birth of a baby boy nicknamed “Moose” in 2011.
