Oregon mother, 34 year old Jillian McCabe called 911 yesterday evening after she admitted to throwing her 6 year old autistic son off of a bridge. His body was found 4 hours later floating near a marina.
McCabe was at the scene and charged with manslaughter, and is being held on $750,000 bail.
Family members have said that her mental health had declined from taking care of her non-verbal autistic son, her ailing husband and losing her father recently. They had sought her care, but apparently it wasn’t enough. She had been discharged multiple times from inpatient care.
