Happy Easter Weekend! I don’t know about you but each holiday I try to make a dish that was even better than the year before. Or I like to mix it up by one year bringing a salad than the next bringing an appetizer, but I almost always bring a dessert especially to Easter. So, in honor of this holiday weekend I wanted to share with you a few recipes of Easter’s past that were fabulous and maybe too much sweet for the family.

These cookies are SO easy to make and were truly a hit with the family. I actually got a request this year to bring them again. It is a basic chocolate cookie recipe, which could be used year around with different sweet fillings to make it match the holiday. But, for Easter you really can’t beat the hard shelled Cadbury chocolate eggs or Easter colored M&Ms would work in this cookie as well. A great recipe to keep on hand!

Easter Deviled Eggs
Easter would not be complete with my in-law family if there weren’t deviled eggs on the table. Plus, these are my husband’s favorite! So, yes I’m one of those weirdoes that dyed the eggs to match the holiday. This is another simple recipe that looks amazing on the table and the taste is not changed at all.

Share some of your Easter Do’s & Don’t recipes with me! Happy Easter!
