1 cup ice
1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 ripe banana, cut into chunks
1 cup frozen strawberries or blueberries or both!
1⁄2 cup pomegranate or cranberry juice
1. Place ice in blender; whirl to crush. Add remaining ingredients, and blend until smooth, about 30 seconds. Serve immediately.
You can add flax seed or protein powder for a little extra nutrition. You can use any mix of fruits. If you use frozen fruits you can cut out half of the ice or use fresh fruit and add more ice.
