Last month, Blue Bell Creameries issued a recall on select products due to listeriosis which was linked to three deaths in Kansas and five more illnesses in Texas and Kansas.
Blue Bell has now issued a nationwide recall on ALL Blue Bell products. They recently found listeriosis once again in two samples of their chocolate chip ice cream.
Blue Bell’s chief executive Paul Kruse issued a statement Monday night that Blue Bell”can’t say with certainty” how the bacteria was introduced to the manufacturing line.
The recall extends to 23 states that it is sold in, and internationally where applicable.
