Sometimes as parents we need our own “time out”, but one North Carolina mom is so done with her kids that she has officially gone on strike. She made a picket sign and has been pacing the sidewalk in front of her home for 3 days straight.
Naasira Muhammad tells People.com, “My children have everything they could possibly want and need, but still they are disrespectful, they are rude. They think that I am the meanest mom in the world and they think that they can survive without me.”
She is leaving them to their own devices to see how they fare. Muhammad says she has tried all forms of discipline but the girls continue to become more and more out of control. The last straw was when they keyed her brand new mini-van.
Keep the faith, mama! We can only hope her strike will help her girls to realize how good they have it!
