It’s upon us- Spring Break! I really look forward to Spring Break in Colorado Springs every year but if you don’t have at least some things planned it can get out of control fast. Here’s a few ideas to keep everyone sane over the break:
– Its the perfect time to start thinking about saving up some money. Grab your coins and head to the bank for your own tour and if you don’t have one yet, open a saving accounts for your kids. If they start putting aside some money now, they will have some to spend come summer.
Head over to Brunswick Zone XL – Call ahead and see if they can give you a behind the scenes tour like we did then stay and play! We love bowling there with their bright family friendly atmosphere plus there is laser tag and the arcade games. Be sure to sign up for their mailing list to get all kinds of great deal!
Instill the value of service by taking a tour of the Care and Share Food Bank. Be sure to bring some donations when you go then see if you can set up a time to volunteer your time during the summer. Its a great experience!
Attend the Pioneer Museum’s events – March 29, there are two events at the Colorado Springs Pioneer Museum that you’ll want to attend. Go for the Children’s HiSTORY Hour then stay for the Windows into History tour.
What fun things do you have planned for Spring Break?
