We are officially in the middle of winter, there’s snow on the ground, and wind chill temperatures are hitting well below the freezing mark. On a cold winter’s day you just can’t beat a cup of hot cocoa. The first cup of hot cocoa is believed to have been created by the Mayan’s more than 2,000 years ago and today we are still drinking it. We are even taking the timeless recipe to a whole new level by creating our own concoctions to make the cocoa hotter, sweeter, saltier, or even cold.

Below is onetwo of ten My719Moms “Must Try Cocoa Recipes” for this winter season. We will be posting a new cocoa recipe every Sunday through the month of January. Let us know which recipe is your favorite.
