“My family is everything to me, and I love him so much, and it’s just like really special to me because I know not many people get to do that.” Those are the words Alabama teenager, Joy Webb, used to explain why she took her grandfather to prom.
In an interview with WHNT, she said, “I know he loves me and I love him, and it’s just really neat and special.” It was her first prom and her “Poppa’s” first prom as well. James Drain said he never went to prom and he was extremely excited when his granddaughter asked him.
She told him, “You’re the one I wanted! Hey, will you come to the prom with me and be my beau?’ And he said I sure will!” This girls sounds extremely cool and we want to be friends with her.
