1. Festival of Lights Family Fun Day at Pioneers Museum: Join the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum for our annual holiday celebration. Enjoy a full performance schedule, a step back in time into our Victorian Christmas room, and activities led by a variety of community organizations. 2. Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony in Monument: Monument for the Holidays Tree Lighting Ceremony. Come join the fun on Saturday, Dec 6 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. There will be Ice Sculpture Carving, a dance performance, a visit from Santa, caroling and more! Event will take place at Limbach Park.

3. Chasing Santa 5K at America the Beautiful Park: Join the Fun at the Largest Santa Run in Colorado. Celebrate Christmas with a 5k Run/Walk. This holiday event is designed for the whole family. Instead of a Race Day “T” shirt you will receive a Santa Suit, pants, belt, jacket, hat and of course a Beard, All yours to keep. It all starts at America the Beautiful Park on Saturday, December 06, 2014…Mention Christmas Unlimited when you register and 20% of your registration fee will be donated back to Christmas Unlimited. 4. Milk and Cookies with Santa by Imagination Celebration: iSpace at Citadel Mall will be transformed into a magical holiday world! Santa will meet and greet the audience from 9 to 10 a.m. Following his appearance, the festivities will continue with more crafts, children’s games, storytelling, face painting, and a photo booth through 12 p.m. The event will feature special appearances from the Fairy Godmother of the Arts, a Snow Queen, a giant penguin, fairy dancers, holiday soldiers, and community leaders. 5. Electric Safari at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo: December 5 – 7 and December 12 – December 23

5:30 to 8:30 p.m. (*last admission at 7:30 p.m.)
Celebrate 24 years of holiday cheer during Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Electric Safari! Over one million glittering lights and 40+ animated light sculptures illuminate the Zoo and create dazzling memories for your family. Warming fires throughout the Zoo offer a reprieve from the chill, as do select indoor animal exhibits that remain open during the event. Top off this astounding display by gazing out at the city’s lights and watch all of Colorado Springs sparkle.
