4. An American Nutcracker at Doherty High School (Dec. 14th): A new take on a great family classic. Choreographer Holly Marble has created an engaging holiday entertainment that connects generations of the American experience through the dreams and memories of young children. With the brilliant music of Tchaikovsky setting the mood, the artists of a A Time to Dance will produce an unforgettable experience destined to become a holiday tradition for our community. 5. Holiday Chocolate Festival at The Broadmoor: Dozens of chocolatiers and thousands of chocolate lovers from around the region will gather at the luxurious Broadmoor resort in Colorado Springs on Saturday, December 13 for the sixth annual Holiday Chocolate Festival at the Broadmoor. The popular festival kicks off at 11:00am, with nearly 60 booths of chocolate, wine, sweets and holiday gifts, open for sales and sampling until 6:00pm.
