1. Family Fun Zombie Run (5K, Walk, Kids’ Run) at America The Beautiful Park Come on out and support the development of the Pikes Peak Children’s Museum! 10 am Saturday, November 1st. A portion of the entry fee is tax deductible. Register the day of the event and receive a long sleeved cotton T-Shirt. 2. Chatfield Corn Maze – Oct. 31- Nov. 1 – Denver Botanic Gardens Wind your way through eight acres of corn and help Farmer Green find his lost animals. Life-size animal cutouts are hidden throughout the maze for fun photo opportunities. The 2014 maze design is a butterfly and can be viewed from two, 15-foot tall illuminated bridges. Visitors under the age of ten can explore the mini-maze.
Tickets include a hayride and unlimited jumping on a giant pillow. Pony and train rides are available for an additional fee. An array of food vendors sell favorite fall foods such as funnel cakes, hotdogs, freshly squeezed lemonade and kettle corn.

3. Fright Fest – Oct. 31 – Nov. 2 – Elitch Gardens
Family by Day – Halloween festivities invade the park starting at noon on Saturdays and Sundays through November 2. Little ghosts and goblins can enjoy Free Candy on the Trick or Treat Trail and partake in several Halloween themed interactive challenges.
Fright by Night – takes over when the sun goes down and blood-curdling shrieks, shrills and chills will take place, starting at 6 P.M. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Prepare to be on alert all around you, as a Zombie Apocalypse has occurred and these creatures lurk around every thrilling corner. Get terrorized with four haunted attractions- Flesh Factory, Terror Chamber, Freak Show, and Séance. These multi-sensory experiences thrust guests into the action as they make their way through dark pathways, explore the site of a Zombie outbreak, watch in horror as the freakiest performers around showcase their unique “gifts”, and take part in bone-chilling live performances bringing stories of the undead back to life! 5. Stuart Little Presented by the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center by E.B. White adapted by Joseph Robinette
This is the endearing classic about a mouse named Stuart who is born into an ordinary New York family. All the charm, wisdom and joy of the E.B. White original are captured in this adaptation by Joseph Robinette. The many adventures-both big and small-of Stuart Little are brought vividly to life in this story-theatre presentation.
