Since July 20 women all over the world have been sharing photos of their thighs on social media. The hashtag #ThighReading is a new way for women to be positive about their bodies.
According to Mashable, Twitter user, @princess_labia, said she came up with the idea “that my stretch marks told a story the same way I had been told my palms did.” Before it became a trending topic, it was helping her feel empowered. There have been all types of thighs submitted: burns, scarring from self-harm, birth marks, bruises, cuts and cellulite, all from women.
