It seems that there are more teens with tattoos. Many people agree that tattoos are not as taboo as they were a generation or two ago. They are almost the normal thing for people. However, tattoos are forever, most of the time. If a person doesn’t plan on spending big money for laser removal, the tattoo they choose will be on them for the rest of their lives.
This is something that teens need to understand, actually everyone should understand this. Colorado law states a minor needs expressed informed consent from parent or legal guardian to receive a piercing or tattoo. Some parents have tattoos and have no problem with their teen having them as well. Others say absolutely not until the teen is 18-years-old.
What do you say about teens and tattoos? Does it depend on the tattoo? Does it depend on the teen? Have you allowed your son or daughter to get a tattoo?
