Wedding days are emotional, but this mom made her daughter’s big day extra special. The wedding and story behind the letter were captured by The Film Poets. Even though I don’t have a daughter, this inspired me to write something for my son to give him in the future.
Sherry Blackledge said she and her husband Craig were never able to conceive a child. They adopted their son Brian and then 11 years later, daughter Brooke. Mom said when her daughter was 18-months-old she wanted to tell her daughter just how much she loved her. She wrote the letter on a piece of lace from her wedding dress and decided to give it to Brooke on her wedding day.
