“Double-takes are guaranteed when your kid starts knocking back their favorite beverage with our hilarious Chill, Baby Lil’ Lager Baby Bottle…Cheers! Lil’ Lager, you’re a trouble maker in the making.”
A baby bottle, that looks like a beer bottle will soon be on sale in the US through Perpetual Kid. Sure, it’s funny and ironic – you know a beer bottle/baby bottle. “Ha Ha, you’re baby is drinking beer.”
However, critics are not laughing and some parents are saying NO WAY! Honestly, if we saw a baby drinking beer we would be outraged. You don’t let babies drink alcohol, why pretend to let them? While a baby may not be influenced, an older child might see it and create an association between a baby drinking and beer. It is important to help children make good choices while they are young.
The bottom line is that is illegal for a person under the age of 21-years-old to drink alcohol. There is no good reason to allow an infant or toddler to “pretend” to be doing something illegal. This bottle crosses the line and should not be sold.
