A Burger-King wedding is about to go down, and the fast food chain has offered to pay for the celebration.
Joel Burger and Ashley King of Illinois are getting married, and when Burger King learned of the upcoming union, they couldn’t resist showing their support by footing the bill.
“When we heard about the happy, Burger-King couple, we felt an overwhelming urge to celebrate their upcoming marriage,” said Burger King spokesman Eric Hirschhorn on Tuesday.
According to The State Journal-Register, Burger (24) and King (23) have known one another since Kindergarten, but didn’t officially start dating until college. Burger thankfully side-stepped the obvious location of a Burger King and proposed to King at a scenic lake.
However, they did manage to take some of their engagement pictures in front of the famous fast food favorite…
