This high school football player is an amazing person. His mother says he is a great kid and we agree. When Luis Velasquez found out that Tiffany, a special-needs friend, had a crush on him, he asked her to prom.
Tiffany and Luis have known each other since 7th grade. Tiffany has baked cookies for Luis on holidays and they went to a 7th grade dance together. Luis asked Tiffany’s grandparents for permission to take her to prom. He set up the “promposal” with the school principal to happen during a fire drill. His friends had a sign the spelled “P-R-O-M?” and handed her roses while her favorite song played.
His mother, Jessica, told a reporter, “He came to me and said, ‘Mom, I want to ask Tiffany to prom because she’s a good person and she deserves it.”
