Fellowship of the Rockies Church has partnered with Mueller’s Auto and Pueblo Dodge to give away a free oil changes, car washes and a barbeque lunch to single moms in the Pueblo area.
The event is being coordinated through the church’s Impact Ministry and will be held on Saturday September 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“We believe as a church, that God has called us to care for each other,” said Beth Buchanan, Coordinator for Impact Ministries. “Fellowship of the Rockies has great people willing to give their time and resources to help this community.”
The technicians at Mueller’s have agreed to donate their time and space for the oil changes and Pueblo Dodge has agreed to sponsor the cost of the oil filters.
Due to the limited space, only 50 oil changes can be accommodated. They will be given out on a first come, first served basis. Moms who are interested are asked to sign up in advance by calling the church at 719.544.5000.
Volunteers and donors are encouraged to email the Beth at impact@fellowshipoftherockies.org to be a part of the event. Mueller’s is located at 1509 E. 19th Street in Pueblo and is open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
