It’s not something we ever, ever want to think about, yet it’s impossible to ignore. With public shootings on the rise, many people are filled with fear and anxiety about heading to public places like the mall, theater, school and the workplace. I hope that we don’t live in fear. Some things we can’t control, but some things we can, and being prepared and having some sort of plan in a potentially dangerous situation is important, because we take back some of that control. Hopefully we will never have to implement the safety tips below, but they are important to know.
