5 Fun Ways to Dye Easter Eggs

Easter is right around the corner, and one of our favorite family traditions is dying Easter eggs! Typically, we go the traditional route and use food coloring, but this year I wanted to try something different and came across lots of fun and unique ways to decorate and dye eggs.  Hopefully you’ll be inspired by some of the ideas listed below, and the kids will be sure to love it too!  Just click on the links for directions.

 

 

 

 

1.  Shaving cream Easter Eggs (from craftymorning.com)

This idea works with shaving cream or Cool Whip, and gives eggs a super cool tie dye effect!

2. DIY dyed Robin eggs (Honestlyyum.com)

Using purple cabbage as an all natural dye, these eggs turn to a stunning Robin egg blue!  Beautiful as an Easter centerpiece!

3. Melted Crayon Easter eggs (Jennaburger.com)

All you need are some crayons, hot water and eggs to create these super colorful eggs!
