Chocolate-Covered Frozen Banana Popsicles Made Simple!

This is a wonderful sweet and cold treat that is sure to please kids of any age. Not only is it healthy and made with simple ingredients but they look great too.

What you need:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 8 oz. of semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 tsp. of canola oil
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Colored sprinkles

How to do it:

  1. Peel and cut the bananas in half. You can also cut them lengthwise if you want to make 4 banana pops out of 1 banana but I prefer just halving them.
  2. Stick a popsicle stick in the bottom of the banana and freeze.
  3. Fill a mug with chocolate and melt in the microwave, stirring the chocolate every 30 seconds until completely melted.
  4. Add the canola oil to the melted chocolate to thin it out and make it coat the banana easier.
  5. Dip the frozen bananas in the chocolate, quickly sprinkle on the colored sprinkles, place on wax paper, and freeze.
  6. When the chocolate solidifies, enjoy!
